WHOLE NEW MIND TEAM SYMPOSIUM

Your team will have a total of 30 minutes to present a coordinated symposium on one chapter from Pink’s six senses that focuses on sharpening one aspect of right-directed thinking:

  • Design
  • Story
  • Empathy
  • Play
  • Meaning
  • Symphony

Getting Started

This guide will help you find sources for your team presentation.

1.  Look up any terms or people you need to know more about in CREDO reference

2.  Using your book, create a list of keywords related to your sense.  Keywords may include synonyms, activities, situations, or school or work settings.  For example:

Story

stories

storytelling

narrative

communication

"personal story"

classroom

"classroom environment"

"video production"

"digital storytelling"

pitch

"writing assignments"

3.  Do some searches in the library databases.  Try combining your keywords with "right-brain" or "brain-research."

A Whole New Mind

4.  Identify some information you want to use as oral footnotes.  Create the citation and notes about how you will cite your source orally.
