Exercise 5 - Topic A

Find two quality Web sites about methamphetamine and its effects on teeth. Find an image on the same topic. On your Word document, put the title of the two Web pages you select and their URLs. Transfer the image to your Word document.

1. You are probably most familiar with using Google for Web searches. If you want Web pages from educational institutions or non-profit organizations, you can limit your searches by adding .edu or .org to your Google search, e.g.,

  • methamphetamine teeth site:.edu
  • methamphetamine teeth site:.org

2. Places to get images on the Web:

Google Images -- has images of meth mouth.


To insert an image into a Word document:

  1. Right click on the image. Scroll down to Copy
  2. Go to your Word document. Position your cursor to where you want your image to be
  3. Paste the image (File -> Paste; or use Ctrl V)

Under (or near) the image, type the word Source and include the title of the Web site and its URL.

Find two quality Web sites about dental care in Watsonville for Latinos. Find an image about dental care and children (doesn't have to be in Watsonville). On your Word document, put the title of the two Web pages you select and their URLs. Transfer the image to your Word document.
