What are OER?

According to the OER Glossary, Open Educational Resources are:

Teaching and learning materials that are freely available online for everyone to use, whether you are an instructor, student, or self-learner.



AB 798: College Textbook Affordability Act of 2015

  • Aims to reduce costs for college students by establishing an incentive program to reward campus, staff, and faculty efforts to accelerate the adoption of open educational resources.
